COSI looked very different when it opened than it does now. While the structure remains the same, the original idea was long pristine hallways you would follow between major themed exhibits. This meant simple white walls and no exhibits in the halls themselves. The idea always felt very un-COSI to most long time visitors who were used to a very interactive building. This gradually changed with more exhibits being added to the halls and much more paint being used to make the white empty halls feel more alive.
We can also see in these pictures the early prices of tickets and the original location of all of COSI's lockers (where the Columbus Historical Society is currently set-up).
