COSI closed on September 6th, 1999. Its last day was treated as a celebration. As the time to close neared, a closing ceremony was conducted in the Pendulum lobby. Speeches were made. The pendulum was stopped. A final show was given to us as hydrogen filled balloons were popped in spectacular colors. Finally the old COSI closed forever.
