Camps have always been a big deal for COSI. Kids come to learn about all kinds of things, especially during the summer. They might even leave with a hermit crab. During the school year, many boy/girl scouts stayed the night at COSI.

"The workshop team arranged and taught the summer science workshops, which schools and daycare groups attended en masse, or parents could enroll their kids individually. The summer workshops each year were typically the same as the workshops taught at the Camp-Ins that season (i.e.: hermit crabs, butterflies, prisms, etc)." The workshop team had 16 different "stupid hats" they used. (1)
