In the COSI Fact Quiz donated by Miriam (Natasha) and Myron Stewart, one of the answers call this area the Mad Science Park. I'm guessing that was an original design name, but do not believe it was ever actually used. All the same, this outdoor area has seen a few changes.

Centripetal Generotor: This was picked up by COSI with the move and placed in the Big Science Park, but had been used for fairs and the likes years before. COSI got as much life out of it as possible and it was retired on Labor Day 2011.

Spectrum: The Spectrum moved from the old COSI and was originally placed in the Big Science Park. It was moved at some point in the late 2000s/early 2010 to the front of COSI in an effort emphasize COSI classics.
